The High Line Car House is one of Columbus Ohio’s top wedding venue! The venue has many features that are extremely desirable like the beautiful stylings of the venue to the impeccable service provided. The historic building, now remodeled has an industrial styling that feels dreamy and romantic. Inside there are high ceilings and natural lighting that creates dramatic photographs. History

The 1873 building is part of the original High Line Trolley System, now repurposed as a wedding venue. This building housed the trolleys, the front doors of the building now were the main entrance for the trolleys. Thankfully this building is preserved and retains the original styling of the late 1800’s in the brewery district / german village.

High Line Car House – Ceremony and Reception Space

This 3300 sq ft building houses all of the events under one roof with the ceremony and reception space divided by a large curtain. The large floor to ceiling windows at the front of the building is the backdrop to your beautiful ceremony altar. Large curtains help create a more romantic feel for you and your guests. The ceremony space can hold 150 comfortably seated guests. Immediately after the ceremony, the curtains open, revealing the fully decorated reception space. Guests will move to this area and the patio area for the cocktail hour while the remaining ceremony space is transformed into your dance floor.

The room’s most impressive feature is the original historic architecture that has been preserved! The exposed brick walls are accented by the high ceilings with exposed wood trusses. The elegant yet industrial chandeliers create soft romantic lighting that can be dimmed to your desired feel. The reception space can hold 200 people in a seated dinner configuration with a large dance floor. Outside, you have access to an extendable patio, lit with string lighting.

Pricing at the High Line Car House

Pricing at the High Line Car House is a simple pricing structure based on a rental fee and food/beverage minimums. Bar pricing is based on a per drink basis with individual drink cost averaging between $7.50 to $9.50. To reserve your date the entire rental fee is due up front (does not include food/beverage minimums).

Off Season (January – March)

• Monday- Thursday – $1500 ($1500 food and beverage minimum)
• Friday – $2000 ($3000 food and beverage minimum)
• Saturday – $3000 ($3500 food and beverage minimum)
• Sunday – $1500 ($3000 food and beverage minimum)

In Season (April – December)

• Monday- Thursday – $1500 ($1500 food and beverage minimum)
• Friday – $3500 ($5000 food and beverage minimum)
• Saturday – $5000 ($10000 food and beverage minimum)
• Sunday – $2000 ($3000 food and beverage minimum)

The beautiful historic architecture of the exposed brick, high ceilinged building, with an industrial flair is the main attraction to this venue. This is why I love this venue.
